We ordered this for our son for this Christmas so he hasn't actually gotten it yet, however, I thought I would make a note because I couldn't find this information anywhere else... Yes, you CAN remove the hat! It's not attached in any way to the doll as is so often the case. The doll is absolutely delightful and much cuter in person than in the pictures. The materials are very soft and the colours are vibrant and well coordinated. I especially love the hair. It's soft and yet won't tangle as so many other types of hair fibers do.
