Only Hearts Club dolls are dolls that promote activities, interests, hobbies as opposed to other dolls that may focus more on fashion and being physically attractive. So it will depend on the personality of the little girl that plays with them. My opinion as an adult is that they are wonderful. Their size tends to be smaller than the standard (Barbie, Bratz, etc.) so just something to note since little girls like playing with several dolls where clearly these dolls will look shorter.
